Bison Motorhomes offered motorhome hire from Swindon with one fully equipped 2020 Roller Team 746, a 5 berth luxury motorhome that its website called a home from home wherever you decide to roam.
The idea was the freedom to travel wherever and whenever you want while keeping the comforts of home, whether staying in the UK or crossing over (or under) the Channel to explore mainland Europe.
Each hire began with an unhurried handover covering driving, converting the beds, managing the power and gas, filling and emptying the water and toilet, and working the TV, and the website kept how-to videos as a reminder.
The people behind Bison Motorhomes were passionate about travel and exploring. They had visited and lived in over 60 countries and loved the feeling of being close to nature that camping and mobile living gives. A VW camper van was too small, a caravan too much hard work and a car meant hotel bookings, so they chose the spacious but convenient Roller Team 746. Swindon gave them quick access to a wide variety of coast, countryside, culture and cities.
Bison Motorhomes knew there were bigger and more established motorhome rental companies, but aimed to give the personal, responsive and supportive service people look for when renting a motorhome, along with advice on where to visit and stay drawn from the owners' own travels.
Why Bison? Of all the animals they had encountered on their travels, nothing came close to the majesty, power and calmness of the bison, a mighty beast which takes life at its own pace.
